Ooo... sounds terribly exciting all this galavanting around the countryside... :)
Have you visited some castles yet?... Shakespearean Castles are fabulous... so I've been told.
I do hope you're enjoying the warmth of the Scottish summer - it sounds like quite the adventure, and most well documented :)
Enjoy the experience.

Hello Sonia,
We are enjoying your travels updates-they bring back happy memories of places we have visited. On Saturday at work I printed off your diary(we haven't a printer at home) & took it in to Grandma on Sunday after Peter & I had been to church. When Pam rang Grandma that evening she told Pam she had enjoyed reading all about your activities so I'll have to make sure I keep her up to date.
Today Pam came to see us. We walked up to Gordon Road & had lunch at Texas Cafe-was very pleasant although with the southerly cold front moving through not the most pleasant conditions for being outside!!
Pam has also enjoyed reading about your travels--I think she's booked you in already as speaker for some of her groups!!! Pam mentioned that her friend Mary Wilson worships at The Parish Church of St. Cuthbert.Pam sends her love & wishes you well for the rest of your trip.
We love seeing the photos especially the view of Newhaven as it gives us an idea of the area where Andrina & Dean are.
Love Bev, Peter & Pam xxxxxx

Hi Sonia. Thanks for the e-mail and the weblink. What a fantastic idea! I have enjoyed reading your postcards and the message board. Hi to Carina and Craig and my Mum and Dad! It was great to see you for lunch on Wednesday and Ian and I are looking forward to spending more time with you when you return in November. It is overcast in London today and raining periodically so you had the best weather of the week while you were here. I'm pleased to hear that you managed to get a ticket to the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. Sounds wonderful and it is such a beautiful building! Enjoy your time in Scotland and we look forward to reading more of your travel adventures. Take care. Love Rachel and Ian xx

It was good to get your reply Sonia. Tino pai! The weather has been absolutely stunning these last few days and very warm. Havn't been to any concerts but Central Singers are doing the first public performance at an anniversary celebration for one of our members. (It is a surprise for them) They are very short swinging numbers but lovely arrangements.
The A team had their first planning meeting this evening at Alisons. We really do need you to keep us on track. The second builder arrived on Wednesday afternoon and the bathroom is looking better already.
Enjoy your time in Scotland.
Carina
The Proms Concert sounded fantastic! We'll take your advice and make sure we see a concert at the Royal Albert Hall....I thought maybe Craig and I could go on a world tour of airports and concert halls... :-P
We're going to the NZSO on Wednesday night (not the Royal Albert, but the Regent here is still a beautiful building)...includes a Saint-Saens Piano Concerto (Number 4) and Tchaikovsky's 6th Symphony. I'm looking forward to it. Have a great weekend! (...no concerts for us...so I might actually get some gardening done!!!).
Bev
