Hey Sonia, Great to read your travel musings. I'd especially like to visit Edinburgh some day. Sorry I missed sending you a note on your birthday, so Happy Belated Birthday!!! I'm off to New Plymouth next week for a cousin's wedding, I'm still working here at Lincoln Uni which is going well, and living out at Selwyn Huts, enjoying the spring weather and out on the river kayaking and splashing around with the eels! On Wednesday my step mum is shouting me and Dad out on the Christchurch Tram for dinner- should be fun...
love and God Bless

Hi Sonia
We've just had a lovely visit from your Mum & Dad and they showed us your postcards - what a great look around you are having. I'm rather envious of the Proms concert - something I'd love to do some day.
Happy travelling

Hi Sonia,
Just a quick note to let you know I'm thinking of ya! Sounds like things are all going well over there. Nothing much changes here at Lauder, though its now getting pretty warm! It was a gorgeous day today for the church fair today, and when Hisako and I went through around lunchtime they seemed to have sold nearly everything!
Look after yourself - good news on getting the visa... miriam is still waiting! Lots of love, Bec

Hi Sonia,A very over- due message I'm ashamed to say,but with Craig being home now I don't seem to be at the computer much at all. We've had one of those fabulous C.Otago 25c days, and hope it continues for the Parish Fair on Sat.I'm on the Produce Stall and am going to be making Waffles as well so Gay is going to help Noelene and myself. I can't quite decide which waffle recipe to use yet but hopefully by Saturday I'll have profected one!!. On Friday I am going to Helen Williamson to make Cheese Rolls, as they were good sellers last year. The "A" Team have the Service on Sunday at StEnoch's and Clyde the following week.Choir has started practising the Advent Music and also some of the Christmas Music.Well I hope this finds you still exploring new places and enjoying yourself. Take care Margaret

Hi Sonia! It has been a while since I have been on the Internet. Have been busy doing things for ACC ie., visiting a pain specialist in Wanaka (with Margaret as support person) and also went to mediation to make sure there is actually some rehab in the rehab plan. Simple but so difficult.
It is the long weekend and there have been heaps of people in town so I have been at home most of the weekend catching up on a bit of gardening and sorting through thousands of pieces of paper. The A team is meeting this week as we are taking a service in a few weeks.
My bathroom is almost finished and I am just waiting for the carpet to go down sometime this week hopefully. It was a superb day today something like 23 degrees and most of the snow has dissappeared from the mountain ranges.
I hope you continue to have a wonderful time.
Love Gay.

Merryn
Well the life of an office girl isn't usually that riveting but I thought I'd drop you a line to let you know that I managed to catch up with Lorraine the other day. I just had a week's leave, which I spent in Chch and New Plymouth, and I caught up with Lorraine on Friday. I was really pleased I did cos she was so rapt to see me. Jessica (5) is adorable, a total sweetie. She also has another one too (!!), Rebecca, 18 months old. Lorraine seems well, she's developed an interest in social/health services, and is working part-time supervising demented people one-on-one (not sure if that's the right word but you know what I mean!). She is just like the Lorraine we remember, down to earth and lovely. She saw you on a documentary and was asking what you're up to.
ah well, time for smoko
see ya, from Merryn

Hi Sonia.Just had a squizz at your news. I hope that you've had a good time thus far at the cottage and that you've done some productive work. I am envious of the veggies, they sound delicious. All's well in Dunedin,we're having more sunny days and less overcast (in saying that, it's probably around 8 octas today!). Rebecca is here for the weekend and we're meeting up later today. Spoke to Jill yesterday, she's been sick for ages! Our fieldwork was delayed as the badges weren't ready,so we start on the 21.My assistant has turned out to be a dream come true!No other news, think of you often.Have fun, love Caradee

Hi Sonia. Wow, sounds like you are have an absolutely fantastic time! Yay! :-)
Sorry I didn't get in touch with you again before you left on your travels.... We'll definately have to catch up when you get back, whichever part of the country it'll be in. Until then, here's hoping you continue to have a wonderful time, and bring back lots of stories to tell us all!

Nigel
When I told Nigel that you stayed in a castle with a ghost, there was a wee grin over his face. He didn't seem too keen to experience a ghost train ride advertised as part of the Fringe Festival. I think he prefers to imagine in his head, ghostly pictures rather than being frightened out of his wits. He is at Sharon's home for the weekend so he will have a good time and the weather is supposed to be warmer than we have had for the last few days. Glad that you have some sunshine - it makes the sight seeing more pleasant. Thanks for the update on the Highland Tour, and across to the Outer Hebrides - we are all following it with great interest. Nigel has a map up on his pinboard and pictures of some of the places that you have visited - especially in London. (thanks to all the calendars Rachel has send us). We hope to go to some of the Fringe Festival events over the weekend too. Love from us all - Nigel, Mum and Dad, xxx.
Margaret
Hi Sonia,The trip sounds if its going really well. A rainy day here,so hope your'e in the sunshine! The A team did it's thing at Clyde and Ophir on Sunday and now don't have a service until the 7th November. The Combined Churches Float is all go at the moment and I have beenaltering the dress for our Princess and sorting some of the girls costumes, lets hope its not a day like today or it could be a major disaster in more ways than one!Linda read out your card at W Group last night and everyone was very interested in how your trip is going. It all sounds great so far. Take care , Margaret
