Rotorua was our next stop which made an interesting change to Auckland... It is the main place in the world that has natural spa pools, or geyser pools which contain sulphur(actually stinks) but u soon get used to the smell, and i soon got used to it as i could relax in the hostels spa pool(very nice lol) So basically thats all we saw there were the natural springs! But seemed a nice place but the 3 nights we were there were enough!

Taupo was next and here is where 30 mins after a arrival we were 12,000 feet in the air ready to jump out of a aeroplane!! ....The skydive really was the most amazing thing ever and i will make sure i do one again!! We did it over Lake Taupo which gave us some absolutely stunning views on our way down!! 45 seconds of total freefall is something else though and you fight against all natural body reactions!! AMAZING!!!!! Day after we spent the day next to the lake trying to make the most of the very nice weather which we all did and were back on track on keeping those tans from Fiji, as weather had not been as nice as we thought it would be!!! But Taupo very nice place and would have been nice to stay longer but now we were on to Wellington!!.....

We did not have much to do here but we did do a Parliament tour which was interseting as we saw how the politics was ran out here. Other than that we played in a small poker tournament which was a nice relief from the travelling and gave us something to keep our minds ticking...Tim came 3rd to some well done Tim!! But finding that after Wellington i had gathered that i was starting to prefer the littler towns rather than the cities in New Zealand!!

Tomorrow we depart for the south Island and Picton.......
