...After New York, San Fran was gonna have to be something speacial to match up to it!! On 1st impressions San Fran is a very beatiful city....one like no other...the hills and trams alone make it special!!!...Then we arrived at our hostel...i know we are still in our early days as travellers but even we could all safely say that our hostel was very very basic!!!...Was the globetrotters inn!! There were things broken,things dirty and we also shared our room with a strange man who came in at night and was out all day and also a japanese man who had nightmares!! he lived there...due tro problems with immigration!! Hmm!! thats wot we thought!! only had time to see china town cuz we arrived quite late!! Next day we visited the windiest street in the world...and then walked across Golden gate bridge after being taken across it in a yellow taxi!! We wanted to see Alcitraz but was booked up untill we left so that was a bit of a disapointment...so advice is to book early to save disapointment!!! We were happy to leaving the next day and after picking up our car set off down highway 1!!...we made it as far as San simeon after driving thru Monterey and the big sur for about 5 hours...it really is a drive that must be done!!! Amazing!!! Thats all i can say!!! We then found 2 cheap nights at a motel in San simeon and decided to fully relax in that time as we had been so hectic!! Actually didn't get out of bed untill 5 next day!!! haha lazy eh! we were now starting to live on crisp sandwiches!!!

we then set off to drive to Las Vegas which was another experience on its own...did it in good time although gabbo was a little bit worse for wear when we arrived!!...Now Las Vegas is something else...big lights and huge casinos...i was in heaven...also we are staying in the Circus Circus Casino which is very nice....for 50 dollars for 2 nights which isvery good considering we are in a hotel!! ...we have just heard about trouble in Fiji whch we are due to fly to on sat so will keep updated on what our next step is......speak soon guys!!!
