...after another long journey we arrived in Los Angeles. Well we were only there for a very short time and in the time we were there didnt see very much at all.Would have been good to see the 'hollywood' sign but apparently that was all to see there so we didnt bother!! The hostel we stayed in is what we thought the average hostel would be like...basic living acommodation but with very good facilities and lots to do! On the 2nd of our 3 nights there we decided to drink a little bit too much and met a few interseting characters...including a man who had changed his name to 'Dr Christ Ectasy' hmmm strange i know but apparently he was going to be working owning his own weed plantation and brand called holy weed! Also we met an ex NFL player but dont know how true this actually is! Also we met an Australian girl called Rebecca French very nice girl and she ended up visiting Venice Beach with us the next day...we were all fairly excited about venice beach as was the 1st proper beach we had been to! Had a very nice day playing ball on the beach!! A memorable date in the trip!!

Last note on ASmerica has to be that it is a impressive place that contrasts so much from place to place. All of the American residents were very helpful when needed and we enjoyed our stay there. The one downside was in LA was the amount of foreign workers that really werent very helpful at all! Not good!! Anyway thoroughly enjoyed the states and onto destination Fiji...for a tan hopefully......
