Typical roads in the moorish town of Alquezar, perfect for bikes , not ! GPS had a field day too, sending me around the houses before the owner rescued me.

6pm. Just arrived in Alquezar, amazing medieval place, really tight roads, all cobbled, glad it's dry. Got split from Dave after only 5 miles today ! I was plodding along at 70 but he still fell behind. 4 hours of tedious motorway before I got bored then decided to find some twisties. Fast 90 ish) constant radius bends one after another, thought I was Rossi for a moment. Then Tomtom sent me up a hill with some fab hairpin bends to finish off. All in all a good...

Oh well arrived at our overnight stop. It stopped raining, 5 mins after donning my waterproofs ! The sun came out and I was then in a sauna. Still couple of beers and a shower later and all is well with the world.

100 miles to go through the mountains and its pissing it down again. I thought the rain in Spain was supposed to fall mainly on the plain !
