Questad and Lovill's Europe Trip
OK. On a personal note, i had quite an experience on my first EuroRail trip. I either lost or got my wallet stolen. EEKKK! Oh well, life goes on, and its going to take a lot more than that to bring this trip down for us. So we made it in to San Sebastian, Spain. What a way to start off Spain. I think that this might be one of the best stops we will have on our whole trip. (a must see for all other Europe travelers). San Sebastian sits in a cove which is pertected by two mountains at the tips of the cove. We spent the day playing in the ocean and laying out on the soft sanded beaches. We then went back to our hostel where we met what might have been the most amazing spanish lady of our lives. She was 50 some years old, her name was Amparo, and she was just full of life. Kisses on the cheeks, big hugs when we arrived, went out partying with her boyfriend, just amazing! Dan, Nick, and I then hiked up Monte Iguelda. We took up some ciabatta bread, salami, cheese, and a bottle of wine to the top and watched the sunset over the ocean to our left, and looked down over the town to our right. When I say this is a must see in Europe I mean it! We got up the next day and took an hour trip to Pamplona. We walked the route they take for the Running of the Bulls, and floated around the town for a couple of hours before catching our train to Madrid which is where we are now! Gonna see some sites tomorrow and hopefully catch a soccer game! Well, thats about it for now, until next time....
