Day 152, 3 December 2012, Hemel Hempstead's Old Town. The hard frosts melted away over night and we woke up to pouring rain. Which necessitated an actual lazy day - yay! After lunch it fined up and we headed from the New Town, via the High Street, to the picturesque old town. It's been around 12 weeks since James last had a haircut (Essaouira in Morocco!) - so the sight of an inexpensive barber was too good to pass up - so down we went to visit the Afghan blo...

Day 150, 1 December 2012, Hemel Hempstead (Hertfordshire) - settled a wee while ago in the 8th century. Our exploration of the counties surrounding London continued today. We met a great lady in Jordan in August and headed off to visit her for a few days and catch up on the last few months.
