It is great to see your experiences and the pandas are gorgeous we are sooo jealous and wish we had done this when we were younger be careful out there and take care of each other love from Malc and Julie

Hi Hellie (hello Mike) thanks for the pix and bit of info. Beijing looks soooo beautiful, I want to go there - I can cope with dirt and manic traffic. There is a film called ‘the Last Emperor’ which is about (funnily enough) the last Chinese ruler before communism took over. It’s set in the Forbidden City and is a beautiful film to watch. Happy travels and keep in touch. LAR hasn’t quite unravelled itself since you left…. (look at me - I’m using a non -standard font!) ha ha Mary
