Today I decided to go to Homps and have a leisurely lunch alongside the Canal du Midi and then a 2 hour cruise along the canal. Weather is turning and it was a little windy but still sunny enough to be enjoyable. Probably the best value Euro12 that I have spent so far! I chose a restaurant with good reviews on Tripadvisor and found myself alone with a waiter and a chef - nobody else came during the entire time so it was hardly worth their time. Lunch was nice...

Today I dropped Susan off at Carcassonne airport quite early for her return home to UK. We have had a lovely 2 weeks together reminiscing about our young days as we have been friends since we were both 5 years old.
