We're back in BA again today, after getting the 'ol 7-hour train. Will sat next to a very fat man and a very fat women, as the seats werent together. A bit sad to leave mar del, it was nice to sit on the beach, or in our case on the rocks next to the beach, and go swimming. The beach was much nicer in the week when it was less crowded. We tried our hand at gambling on thursday. From the moment we walked in, the casino knew that they were in trouble, asking us for ID and being disappointed that we were over 18 and could go in. We decided to play roulette as we couldn't afford any of the other games, this proveed to be a good choice and after losing a little our stack slowly grew. We ended the night up to the tune of 10 pesos, and after losing a bit on the fruit machines we decided to go home winners. Friday we decided to check out the clubs in mar del plata, we went to a place called 'sobremonte', where we had dinner in the club and watched a tango display while drinking martinis. At about 1:30 the club opened, the music at the beginning was pretty weird but it improved as the night went on and they started to play some English stuff. On sunday night we went to a very weird restaurant. Peter Josie and Al broke the golden rule of not ordering anything you cant translate, and got a meat platter, which consisted of black pudding, which only Pete tried, white pork, kidneys, entrails and something that tasted suspiciously like horse. Our best day was monday when two Argentines offered to drive us to the harbour, where there were lots of brightly coloured fishing boats and sea lions sitting along the edge of the harbour taking in the sun.
