Hay Guys & Gals :)

i think you all deserve a big fat SORRY for not updating this thing sooner , but i have been having far too much fun in the sun , i keep forgetting or "i'll do it tomorrow " & yes you have guessed it it never get done :) well i'm here now better late than never. & now i'm here i don't even now where to start erm........... hope your all sitting comfortably, none of you need the loo if you do you should go now cos this is gonna be a long one :) lol, infact its gonna be sooo long i will have to cut alot of it short but don't worry i will not leave out all the juicy bits :) lol

i think last time i spoke to you we were still in sydney , well we left there on thursday 4th ocober ( when i say we i mean me (of course) lisa, naomi & Paul ) it was very early flight and we were all a bit hungover (as you do :) but the flight was only short so when we arrived in cairns we also met up woth two other people we are travelling with , Debs & stu, so there is 6 of us in all. when we got to cairns stu started to phone round all the farms to c if we could get some work , turns out we got booked in for somewhere in a place called tully arrive on weds 10th hopefully to start work on the thurs 11th. neway as we were in a new town we thought we might aswell go out and enjoy ourselves , ne excuse :) went to a bar called pj's and i can't really remember much else from the night as i had far too many cowboy shots :) & b4 you ask no i can't remember wat is in them :) lol

on wednesday 10th we had to get the greyhound bus to tully , if i had known wat i was letting myself in for i don't think i would had bothered , but hey its all part of the experience :) Lol. neway we got there & was staying at a place called the banana barracks , basically its a place for fruit pickers , you book yourself in for the week and they find you work. people if you ever find yourself in tully, which i hope you don't, don't ever stay there , its a pooh hole, & its smells and dat is just the hostell , Tully is just not worth even mentioning , i have never in my whole life been to such a boring town :) lol,(& yes lucy dat includes eastbourne ):) lol neway everybody is a bit wierd in tully and all in bred , where they were all born & they marry there cousin's and are all called billy bob :) Lol . he he . but wait it gets worse Lisa and i were given the worst jon , just my luck :) lol melon picking , big arse watermelons :)lol, in 35c heat from 6:00am till 3:00pm , but we only did it for 2 days , then we were given bloody construction work for five days :) lol in our defense we didn't actually know we were doing construction work untill the guy came to get us , we were told we were painting, but we managed it for five days , don't know how but we did it. but you should have seen us , you can all have a good laugh when you c the photo's :)lol we actually left tully on tues 16th oct & as soon as we left we all jumped up and down and did a little dance :) lol . i have to say hope you are all proud dat i lasted the whole week Paul left after the first day & Debs and Stu left on the monday ...oh well some peeps just canot handle the pace :) lol

we arrived back in cairns on the tues 16th oct, the 17th oct was just spent chilling , we all went out in the eve, so somewhere called the woolshed or should i say the woolfactory :) lol dats wat i was calling by the end of the night after one to many :) lol

on fri 19th we travelled down to cape tribulation which is in the rainforest , its a very chilled place , not much to do but relax , we did do some jungle surfing . its basically swingging from the trees , really fast and upside down , it sound more dangerous than it is but it was good , lots of screaming involved :)Lol we arrived back in cairns on sunday 21st oct.

mondays the 22nd was the best day ever , i did wait for it ............. a 14000 ft skydive :) with 60 sec freefall :) .........yes you all heard correct i did a skydive :)Lol its the most amazing thing ever , i think everybody should do one ,& i mean everybody, yes dat includes you , i know who you are shaking your head:)lol. The free fall was the best bit :) lol and if you don't believe me i have a certificate to prove it :) lol

tues 23 oct , we all went to an island called fitzroy , relaxing again :) Lol sun was shining water was clear, did scuba diving, glass bottom boat , topped up the tan :) lol some of us went a bit lobster red :) lol you will be pleased to know it wasn't me :) Lol

weds 24th oct , this is the travelling day , the oz experince bus was booked from cairns to mission beach. for those of you dat don't know :) lol oz ex bus is a hop on hop off tour bus , esp for backpackers , like me :) lol its really good way to get around goes all the way down the east coast. its mucho fun :) neway we got the bus down to townsville stopping at a croc farm on the way , and i am talking big mean crocs , ones dat have killed cows and some even people , they were so big they look like dinasours. we even got to have our pic taken with a snake and a baby croc :) lol

we arrived in mission beach and yes you have guessed it another very relaxing place :) oh its such a hard life :) lol. neway we just chilled for the next couple of days and got the bus down to a place called townsville on fri 26th oct.we stayed 1 night in townsville , we explored in the morning and then decided when we get magnetic island out the way we would stay and find some more work.

sat 27th oct , magentic island here we come . OMG!!! wat a beautiful place , we spent three night here, it was sooooo nice i didn't want to leave. we chilled, we hired a car , well if dats wat you wanna call it , it was more like a bugey , a bit like a barbie car it was pink and everything :) lol we explored the island saw some koala's , actually we only saw one :) Lol we named him andrew :) Lol we also saw roack wallabies , we named one of them wendy :) Lol. Tues 30th oct was time for us to leave we were sposed to do kyaking and snorkalling but the current was to bad and they wouldn't let us out , gutted oh well at least i didn't have to pay :) Lol we arrived back in townsville at about luch time , just in time to start job hunting , to be honest with you i'm not really having much luck, & if i am totally honest i don't really wanna get one :) Lol i like being a lady of leisure :) Lol i'm far too lazy :) lol

neway dats it for now , i think i am up to date. sorry if i went on to long but i did warn you all :) lol so i'm still in townsville , still looking for work , well at least dats wat i tell the other guys , think i'll go sit in the sun , then for some drinks :) Lol mmmmmmmm:)lol oh we are stying at a hostell were you get a freed i dinner , how cool is dat :) lol . If i don't find work by sat i'm moving on to airlie beach, Lisa already moved on today, naomi and paul both have jobs , so you will have to watch this space :)

yes yes i know i haven't uploaded ne photo's yet , but i am having problems , i put all the photo's from by broken camera onto disk , except in true Nikki style i didn't do it propaly. so at the mo i am still trying to figure it out , so you will all have to patient , nebody would think you guys haven't got nething better to do :) Lol. i promise i will post some soon :)

neway i better go i have been here for hours , i have to find a job remember :) Lol thanks for listening :)
