Right, I thought I'd start this... I guess it's later rather than sooner by now. I have been trying to keep a journal from the very beginning but I am now about a month behind in my notes... :( so this will be a way of catching up and up dating I suppose :)

We are now in Las Vegas, I don't know how it happened we were supposed to be on the west coast, spending some time between San Francisco and LA before we fly to Fiji in about a weeks time. After having checked trains and busses and reading up on the little places on the coast we realised we would struggle without a car. So we looked at the options and vegas came up... Oops and here we are! The train and busses didn't take too long and we arrived on Monday night ahead of schedule believe it or not (!)

After having a bit of trubble with our hotel booking we ended up staying in a really great but cheap place for the night with the outlook of fixing the problem in the morning, and we spent the evening in the casino bar downstairs. Yesterday we managed to sort everything out and we are staying in the Emerald suites off Tropicana Avenue. Accross the road is The Orleans hotel and casino and we have had their buffee for lunch two days in a row :) only $8.95 each! (I didn't feel to good yesterday so all I had was two plate fulls of different kinds of melon -yum)

Today we have been checking out the Excalibur, Luxor and the Topicana hotels and casinos and we will go back to the strip later on, we're just gonna have a swim first!
