Im quite late in recounting this Paris experience but considering it is already midnight I'll be quick in this entry.
Basically...
- had beautiful weather in Paris
- the food was amazing!! The best was the pistachio chocolate croissant and the salmon quiche.
- the people were so nice! I don't know why Americans say the French are arrogant because I have had nothing but great experiences.
- My college French was so helpful! Between my travel buddy, Asavari and I, we could get around pretty much entirely in French (solidly grammatically incorrect, I'm sure... But even so, it's a win in my books)
- the Eiffel tour is def over hyped but my oh my c'est magnifique!
- the RER is generally reliable however as we were making our way to the airport to catch our flight the trains shut down due to some accident (suicide on the tracks I heard). It was an adventure fighting for a taxi, picking up fellow travelers on the way and then just barely making it to the flight
