Hello from Kuala Lumpur!

I was right about the plane food, it was something totally gross. I dont even know what the main meal was but there were side dishes of green noodles and a bowl of prawns, ummy....not!! I just ate haribo and m&ms!! The plane was huge jumbo one but it wasn't even half full so I could chill out with 3 seats all for me. I forgot to say that my flight to Tokyo had a camera at the front and underneath, it was really cool watching take off but landing was horrible I was gripping the set to try and make him move over!!

Within 2 seconds of being on this flight they came round wit glasses of whiskey, pan would have loved it! Then I just settled down to watch 3 films, I was laughing my head off at Evan Almighty so I think people thought I was mad!

I had to fill in an entry form which said that all drug tarrickers will be killed which wasn't really a very nice welcome! Then I started thinking maybe I have some drugs, but I'm sure your allowed anaddin extra!

When I arrived I went to get my bag and there were hundreds of men sitting on the floor all facing the same way. I thought they were praying or something but they were just chatting. It was horrible because they were ALL staring at me, I hated it. Then I went through and bought a ticket for a taxi and loas of guys tried to talk to me, within about 5 seconds I decided I didnt like it here!! Japanese men ae really shy and polite but here they are all shouting hello at me!

As we were driving to KL it looked like we were in America or something because it all looks really fake with perfectly spaced out palm trees and holiday apartments. Then KL looked really modern from far away and everything here is in english, when I got in the taxi hey there delilah was playing so that is quite cool because I miss home but rubbish because there is no culture here.

As we drove through KL I was trying to work out what is traditional malaysian food because there is chinese, indian, japanese, french, planet hollywood, o' riellys!! I'm thinking it might be curries but I'm still not sure. The oputskirts is relly run down and horrible. Then men here just stare so I would never feel safe walking around here at night but in Japan I woldn';t have thought twice about it. I'm glad this wasnt my first stop or I would have just wanted to go straight home!

The hostel is voted 2nd in Asia on hostelworld website but it seems old and dirty! There is only 1 toilet and shower between everyone and I'm in a room of 6 people but there isn't a real roof, just sheets!! Then there is a main roof over the whole building so I imagine its going to be really noisy. Plus its boiling hot, I arrived here at 5pm and it was 30 degress but I want to stay covered up here so I will be very sweaty!!

One good thing is that they have english plug sockets so I can charge all my stuff easily and my hair straighteners work which is annoying because I am going to make myself look as rough as possible here so I wont be using them! I get breakfast here too and the woman will do your washing for about 50p. The net here cost 50p an hour but in Thailand it cost me about 4 pound!!

Anyway, that is my rant over and done with. I am going to read some guide books now so that I can plan 2 action packed days in the nice city center and then I'm out of here. I imagine this is what Bangkok will be like so at least I get a little practice at it. Theres english people here but they are old so no friends for me!

I hope your all ok. Aunty M your message really cheered me up, you had better keep me a little harry jr! I knew something was strange when they made me sign a release form in Harrods, haha!! Whoops!
