Today we left Fiji at 9am and landed in New Zealand about 12.30. I was so excited to see Uncle Chris and Carol that I got tearful when I first saw them! It's so lovely to be with family!
From the airport Chris and Carol took us to a Buddhist temple for lunch. It was delicious! The idea of the restaurant originated from when a young boy got really sick and was nursed back to help my meals full of vegetables! After grocery shopping we went back to Chris and Carols and drank wine and ate very good food...biscuits, cheese, pork, vegetables, baileys and chocolates! They told us about an exciting walk that we would be doing the next evening so the rest of the evening was spent preparing and getting excited for that!

Today I went for a run along the water front which was lovely, it was so busy with runners and cyclists!
After a lovely breakfast and fresh coffee (!) we headed to a local French market and then onto a local farmers market! They were both lovely! It's so lovely to be back in New Zealand, the buildings are beautiful and everything is so clean and quiet!
This evening we had dinner from 'hell' which was the yummiest pizza I have tasted, including a dessert pizza! Yummy!! Then it was onto our surprise walk! The walk was for breast cancer around the domain in Auckland. Everyone had to dress in pink, so Fliss was a pink clown, Chris and Carol were wizards, and I was a pink fairy! Even the dogs had pink tutu's on or where sprayed pink! It was great fun, for a good cause and we got to walk around part of Auckland!!

Today we went to 'church' but it was no ordinary church, we were joined by an abundance of animals including Shetland ponies, dogs, cats, rats, birds, snails! It was great fun! All the speakers had a hard job being heard over the animals! That evening we saw ourselves on tv during the service!

Today we started the kiwi experience, we were quite nervous but then saw two girls that we had met in Fiji and we made friends with two guys at the bus stop who seem friendly so all is well!
