The Manning Gorge walk started with crossing the river by boat to get to the other side where the 2km walk began. The boat is rigged up to a pulley system so you just hop in and use the rope to pull yourself across. We crossed the Pentecost River and then went back to do it again to get a clear photograph without other cars. This morning at the park we ran into a family that we met on the first week of our trip. It's strange how you can bump into people thousands of kilometres later.
