so we have come far from taupo. we have travelled down through river valley and wellington. wellington was amazing lots of uni nights out with friends. then it was off to the south island. it has to be said that south island is the more beautiful out of the two islands. we have come down the west coast through nelso (free winetasting, so good) to Franz joseph. here we went for glacier walks mlasting 8hours. it was such an increadible experience. we had little ice...

so we have come a long way since auckland we have been up to mercury bay, rotorua, waitomo and are now in taupo. the weathr has been interesting ie rain thus our skydive was cancelled and we have been unable to do the tongarera crossing. we have joined the kiwi experience bus. this is amazing so much fun we have made a great group of freainds here. so far we have been to mud pools in rotorua and to a cultural show which was amazing showing us traditional maori li...

so we left auckland for a few days to travel up north on the magic bus. thius was great we got to meet so many great ppl and have so much fun. the bus drivers were halarious. we went up to a place called paihia via this huge kairi tree forest. the kaori trees are huge and native to new zealand so this was quite interesting. paihia itself is pretty smalll and full of the 'older' generation, however it is right on the beach and so beautiful. day two we went...

so we have finally left south america and our first continent is finished. so now it is onto new zealand. we landed here at 3-30am which was a bit of a shocker especially having completely lost all of the 1st jan due to the date line cross over. we were picked up by our friend moniques mom who mothered us by feeding us and doing our washing, so thankful. we were staying just out of auckland an only came in on sunday. we have been up the sky tower which is amazing...
