Well everyone I am finally here.....sitting in an internet cafe writing my blog on Khao San Road...it is so busy here but I really like the buzz of the place and everyone that I have met so far has been really friendly...met two women on each plane one from Oz and one from New Zealand who have given me their contact details to go and visit them....I can't believe I was a bit worried that I might not meet people when I was away but that does not seem like it is going to be a problem at all!I have been into one of the temples so far which was amazing..I can get in free today to the temples and also get to see some of the parts of the temples that you don't normally get to see into because it is a festival of some sort at the moment....! So bizarre in amongst all this craziness that there is such peace and serenity! I was given a map by a very helpful Thai man and I am going to sample some of the Thai cuisine although I am unsure as to what most of the stuff is....the only thing that I recognised were some barbequed bananas but hey when in Rome as they say...! I found a really good bar down Khao San Road and sampled some fried noodles they were amazing and under a pound woo hoo bargain.....I also sampled my first ever Thai Oil Massage which was superb although I did take a fit of the giggles when the lady massaging me clung to me like a limpet and twisted me until my bones cracked.....that aside I would highly recommend it as it is so cheap under 6 pound for an hours massage....I LOVE this place....it is so different to anywhere I have ever been before and being a lover of food and massage could not be happier....I am off to sample Singha with my dinner ...ciao for now!
