Hey everyone,

Better late than never with this blog entry as I have actually left Cairns now but had a really good time there. Stayed in a really good hostel, met lots of nice people and chilled out at the lagoon on the esplanade as there is not a beach as such here.....you are advised to stay off the sandy banks at the ocean incase a croc gets you he he! I have been on a day trip to Kuranda where I took an old fashioned train up into the mountains then a skyrail back down the other side over the top of the rainforest which was amazing of not a bit scary at times! There has been a cyclone here so the weather has not been fantastic..the odd bit of sun here and there but still been a really enjoyable time!
