We checked our bags, ticketing and went thru security, I got a pat down (I musta looked suspicious ;) lol) and we had some lunch and expensive drinks, before dad waved us off. We sat at gate one and waited until a man in the lounge, another passenger informed us our flight had changed boarding gates. So off we went to gate 23 and had some excellent service from quantus! They held everyone back from boarding until they had me ready to go...mum and I both felt the eyes of all the rest of the passengers boring into the backs of our heads while we were walking and a flight attendant wheeled me in my wheel chair up the loading ramp before any of them!!! When were seated and all our belongings were stowed, they let everybody else on the plane.
We went thru the normal safety demonstrations and flight stuff, got headphones to watch the news and modern family, but because of the turbulance thesound was going in and out- but it was the only actual episode I had seen of modern family I could explain to mum what was happening in the show! Then listening to the comedy radio channel we went thru some more turbulence before landing.

Just landed at Sydney airport, We are sitting on Tarmac in sydney awaiting next stage of our adventure! The doors to the plane are jammed shut and we can't exit the plane yet but they r working on it :)

We are now waiting for my sisters plane to land so we can go to the international terminal. Excited!

Okay they got the can opener out and got the doors open!
