Hi Everyon, finally got round to writing a blog, it will only be a quick one because this expensive computer is crap.

We started in NY and did the usual, Empire State, Central Park etc. It was very hot so it was nice to get to Washington where it was a tiny bit cooler. We went from NY to DC on the train, 3 hour trip (the station was like an airport with gates!!weird) that went through Philadelphia, Baltimore (where it was raining) and Delaware. Washington was interesting, again did the touristy things, White House, Washington Monument etc. Then we headed back to NY for the night to get the flight to San Francsico via LA

The flight from New York to LA was delayed as there was a Tropical storm so we missed our connection to San Francisco, got a later one though and finally got here after 16 Hours...woo!! The weather has been alot cooler which we needed after the humidity in NY.

We have been to Alcatraz and been on the open top bus in true tourist style!! Alcatraz was interesting and there was a ex-con who spent some time on the island in the 60s as a prisoner there. He was doing a book signing.

We pick up the car today which is scary because we have no idea how the roads work over here, people seem to do what they like.

Heading up to Yosemite tomorrow, then down to LA on sunday, then Vegas for the big TRUMP!!
