A day of self-importance as we head for and hang out at a bit of namesake headland, puts the madness of this whole trip into context!
After finding out that nothing is oopen and no one goes anywhere in France on a Sunday we were stranded in Quimper for an extra day, waiting to get a bus out west. Today we managed to get as far as Audierne, where we found a campsite near Pointe du Raz (PdR) and headed for it. In the process we turned down our first lift offer from a woman who took pity on the size of our backpacks and the fact we were walking to a geographical cul-de-sac. We reached our framhouse campsite, complete with goat chained to kid's climbing frame, pitched our tents, ditched our bags and headed off on the last stretch to PdR. Via a bretton biscuit factory that smelt too good to pas-by and had my nale on it - literally!
Cue all the photos from a really good couple of hours wandering around this very Landsend-esque piece of headland (and finding that madelaine biscuits look like nipples, might have been the fatigue and rum!)
