With nine days scheduled off of work, what's a girl to do? Grab a friend and head to Europe!

After a nine hour overnight flight we have arrived in London! We made friends with the custom agent at the airport...his advice 'it's Saturday find a pub have a few pints so you won't remember today tomorrow' we figure being awake for 24+ hours may just have the same effect!

After quick showers we took the train into downtown London, caught our first glance of Big Ben, had some lunch in a pub and did some wandering. We have decided we misjudged what 5 degrees feels like...it's COLD! And both of us left our mittens at home! We found ourself in the theatre district with some last minute tickets to see Billy Eliott tonight, it was fantastic with some pretty talented kids!

We currently have the heat on full blast under some extra blankets trying to warm up from our first damp and cold day in London! On tomorrow's agenda, dress warmer, hop on hop off bus tour...and maybe a local pub crawl.
