Arrived in cairns to extreme humidity, it was like a fan assisted oven hitting you when they opened the door of the plane. Got bus to palm beach, there is alot of money up there. The houses were huge. The beach was gorgeous, and it was so hot. Went to where they film home and away, I haven't seen it in years so didn't recognise anything. Had a sunbath and caught bus back to manly passing loads of other beach resorts that looked amazing. I booked to go and see the pengiun parade at phillips island but before we got there we went to a wildlife park. Yes I have arrived in Australia!! I fed Wallabies, Kangaroos, Emu's and stroked a Koala, it was amazing. We went to see some baby pengiuns first before watching the parade. I arrived in Melbourne and had booked 2 nights in a private room to get myself ready for the next stage of my trip. I should have booked into a dorm, the hotel had some school kids staying, OMG they are worse than drunken backpackers. Anyway I managed to sort out my trip from Cairns to Brisbane including stops at Cape Tribulation, Barrier Reef, Fraser Island, Whitsundays and Magnetic Island, i would need a mortgage to do anything more it is quite expensive here...
