Hi everyone,

Have been in Thailand for a while now and I love it!!!

Everyone is so chilled, the weather is great, food is delicious and there are always lots of new people to meet and new things to do!

I started off in Krabi which I really liked so we stayed a while. Had a bumpy journey as the coach dropped us at 1am about 10k away from the town, but a local couple took pity on us in the pouring rain with our big bags and gave us a ride in the back of their pick-up truck. Whilst in Krabi I did an elephant trek which was brilliant, they are enormous and quite noisey and dont usually do as their told. Then we fed them, went to where they live to touch them and then went in the water with them and washed them whilst climbing on them - I mostly just got soaked and couldn't stop laughing so kept falling off!!! We also did a trek around 4 islands on a long boat, I stopped and did snorkling on an island (but by the time i came to the surface the sea had covered the island, later we tried open water snorkling which was great fun!

I moved onto phuket for a few days and explored the town then moved to koh samui which I really liked, very clean, beautiful island. I hired a moped and tried my hand at that, seriously considering getting one when I get back. However, on the island down hills and around corners at high speeds with crazy lorrys, cars and other bikes around you is quite scary!!! But it was a great way to see the island.

Had some great laughs so far and met lots of people, today I arrived on the party island so will let you know how I get on, tonight is a paint and jungle party????
