Sorry we missed your call last Wednesday. We walked to Belstone via Fatherford woods. Its a lovely walk just long enough for us. I cant imagine you both mountaineering but I can feel the pain you suffered afterwards and the look on your faces! Good for you! Im hoping you're thinking about the future while you're gathering all these skills and experiences and come up with something to make you rich! Everyones ok here. Nanas fine. She had Catherine, Richard, Nelson, Sarah, Amelia and James to stay last week for half term. Shes busy now getting herself back to normal. She enjoys seeing them all. Nicola, Ill give Owen his goodies this week as weve been off school for the half term. Ive taken the 2 books and C.D.s to your mum. Michael, weve had a letter from the student loans company. Do you want to do anything about it, perhaps you can email them. Take care, enjoy Bali, Love mum and dad.

Hi u 2 travel dudes. Have really enjoyed reading all your exploits. Thank you very much for the beautiful card from Vietnam & the card from the beach in Kotao. As it arrived, Graham was back having roast with us, so was able to tell us all about it. Life in Hatherleigh is plodding along as always. No scandle at the moment. I am enjoying the cheese making over at Curworthy.
The most exciting thing happening at the moment is that Chisel has started refereeing!!!His first match was Stratton v Holsworthy and allthe lads went to support him. Andrew is looking forward to the srart of the cricket season. BFN love Colliers

Hi Guys
Good to hear you're recovered from your illness Michael - don't go bringing anything nasty back with you! Thanks for the postcard which came yesterday - all sounds very exciting - all the characters you will have met by the time you come home! you will be able to write a book using this journal!
Things are ok in Exeter - I'm still trying to get a new job but they are letting me stay here till the end of march, so that's ok. Gary has started his new job in sales at EDF and loves it so far. We are going to dublin next saturday for a few days - we are very excited.
Anyway, take care xx

Hey pixie/MJ. Very jealous of the shark swimming...I wana do it! Claire is making me and her an appointment at sta next weekend so that we can sort out our travels...we've decided we're gonna head off in October or November which is very exciting! Will you be back by then? Thought I may as well just bite the bullet and agree to go with her :) I saw James McAvoy at Waterloo train station last night (the guy from Shameless/The Last King of Scotland)...I was very excited!! Take care x x x

You were brave Nicola swimming with the big sharks, I'd be worried that by screaming it would attract them to me even more in a 'bothered' kind of way!
As you can tell, Graham is back, living the Hatherleigh male dream lifestyle, which is not age related & can last a lifetime if one doesn't have the resolve to break away!
I'm beginning to worry how much you want me to bring to NZ on your behalf, not just hair straighteners then!
See you soon,
Love Mum X

hello gays, how ironic that you should get ill michael, especially after all the "advice" you gave me! as for me, well i started a job at vital dog last week, back living the dream. i have applied to the police force of somerset and avon and also for a job at south west water so i am hoping that i can sort something out soon or my head may explode. football is going great, my first game was at centre half and we got beat 5-1 by exmouth. secong good went well too, a 6-1 shoeing by feniton. never fear, sounds like i may have to get my gloves on this weekend for the trip to cullompton so all hell may break loose. as for a diet of apples and bananas jones, thta diet sounds familliar! did you see stacey again at all? laters, gb!

Sorry to hear youve been under the weather, Michael. I hope by now the bug has flown and youre back enjoying yourself. Nicolas obviously healthier than you. It is a long time since weve checked the journal. You know our computer is rather old and slow! Its always nice to have a chat on the phone. Dad said you were off to the jungle last time you phoned . Is that where you picked up the germ? Make sure you take all the medecine and come back without problems. Mary and I enjoyed our trip to New York. It was short and sweet but we got around a fair bit on the double decker tour but. Everyone is fine here, apart from colds. Our plans have gone in so were keeping our fingers crossed. Nana asks after you and is making good use of your scarf. Perhaps you could find a nice silk one this time. Madeleine has got a new job to start in March so shes feeling happy about that. Patrick is back . He enjoyed Australia. Dads play has been postponed till the summer so hes missing the fun! Life goes on , not too hectic at the moment. We havent seen anything of Gill so still have the C.D and New Zealand book. When does she go? Did you want her to bring anything for you?Speak to you soon, love to Nicola. Take care love mum and dad.

Hi Nic, it's Emily from Ashfords. Just thought I'd say hi as we are on our travels now too and have been away for about 2 weeks. We've been to Hong Kong, Bangkok, Krabi, Railey and are now on Ko Phi Phi. We have a sta travel journel too, so you can check out what we've been up to. Glad to hear you are still having a fab time. We've been enjoying all the amazing sights and cheap food and drink too!
We move onto Malaysia next so it's good to read up on what you guys have been doing there.
Lots of Love Em & Ben xxx
Ps: sorry for the random blank message, I hit return by mistake, and I haven't even been on the Thai Whiskey yet!!

Graham can eat a few more pies now he's back & living at my expense, thought he'd given up meat but he told me he couldn't afford it whilst away! He's gone to Ex with 1st team for football today so don't expect him back til tomorrow - oh no, it's as though he's never been away!
Mad
I have to say I chuckled out loud at that too! Not as much as I laughed about michael getting booted off a beach whilst trying to stuff an illicit pie in his gob! Watch yerself mike, I've seen the pics, those pies are starting to take their toll!
