Back from hols in the Lakes - footpaths a bit more splidgy than the beaches in Oz! Had a good time though.

FatFin (Matthew's goldfish) has got the sulks as he's spent the week alone. He's re-arranged his fish tank (don't ask), pulled up the weeds, moved the bridge - and probably had friends round for a party. He won't look at us so he must be feeling guilty about something!!

Off to Nan's tomorrow for the bonfire night - will take the warm option and watch the fireworks from her bedroom!

Nit only are John and Edward still in, but they got the most votes last week! I believe the Xfactor crew are having crisis talks!! All the photos look amazing, I'm glad you've found travel buddies. Only 7 on your Oz bus tho, that must be a bit spacious, we always seemed to have about 20 of us! How long is it till you get to the cattle ranch? I am going to email you shortly, but thought it's been a while so I'd leave you a quick blog. I'm working for ents now, start paid work on Friday at Kinki, I did 19 hours of shadowing last weekend for free, but met the Noisettes (although I didn't know who they were!). Anyway I shall be emailing you with a general tour etc soon, the naked calendar is no longer happening :( but I will find some other fundraising ideas! I'm sorry about the lack of gossip, I will have to trya nd get some people drunk and do some matchmaking do there's something to tell you about!

It is paradise....seriously great beaches that go on forever. And for some reason most places have the Biggest Things In The World. Seen the Giant Pineapple yet?

OK, now I am seriously jealous! Those photos make it look like paradise! I'm glad you've met up with lots of other travellers - I knew you would - just makes it a lot more fun I would imagine!

Packing is going slowly - I know you're there in spirit! I think we're finishing off the hard bit today (sorting through the back bedroom - box after box of Gethin's stuff from his parents' house!).

Jamie Cullum was on GMTV this morning, bashing away on the piano! Reminded me of when we saw him and you played table football with him and the band!

Have you got used to sleeping on the buses and things yet? I hope the beds are more comfortable than the ones we slept on at the Travel Lodge in Wales! If I rolled over, Gethin would be bounced out of bed and vice versa! I think R&R cancelled their reservation there and booked the Premier Inn instead!

Don't worry about the written blogs, keep them coming, they're just as much fun to read as watching the videos (although it is, of course, more fun seeing you so we can keep an eye on how the tan is coming along!). Who won the bowling eventually? I'm going bowling tomorrow with my uni mates - my suggestion as otherwise I'd spend the day following them around shopping - you know how much I love that!

It's great to hear your news - hope you are enjoying the Aussie lifestyle! So Nan saw Henry 8th - we can top that - we saw Hagrid this morning and I'm pretty sure he can eat at least 3 shredded wheat for breakfast! He was about 7 foot 10 ins tall, with size 26 feet!
