Today we had our first run through. We didn't quite make it to the end but we were only one scene of. Only 2 more days left being on the show which is sad, but at least I'll be there for the opening. Busy now finishing off my paperwork before I leave!

I had the day of today, was cold and quite wet so I didn't do much. I went and cheeked out little Italy and a few shops around the city. Got another few big days ahead of me as we get close to previews. Four more days left of my internship, then head of to San Francisco next Sunday to spend 4 days sightseeing.

Its been a while since I've writen a blog cause I've been crazy busy. We have finsihed a slow tech through of the show and NOW 620 lighting cues later we are ready for our first run through tomorrow. We had the orchastra in practising in the theatre today and they were amazing! Only 5 days to previews and 6 more days left on the show! Time has flown so much, but looking forward to seeing San Fransisco. Learning heaps of new skills both in design and paperwor...

Today I went along to Minskoff Theatre with Don Holder, who I am interning with and designed the lighting. He was doing a tech clean up which is required for shows to clean up lighting cues, check focus etc. (Lion king has been running for 17 years). It was amazing to see the set and lighting of such a great show. After this we went back to the American Airlines Theatre to continue teching 'On The Twenteith Century'. We are slowly teching through the show, ready...

So I've been a bit busy lately and haven't had time to write a post. Things are going well with the show, we are km dry tech at the moment. I had this weekend off and went sight seeing. I went to the zoo, China town, harbour cruise and to see the book or Mormon. Was a really packed weekend. Now a snow storm is inbound for New York so public transport is going a bit crazy. Not long will we start tech with cast on stage.
