So the trip has come to it's end. What a year. The last couple of days I spent in Buenos Aires, with a German chick who's name I now forget. We had food, shopped for our pre-departation objects and souvenirs (Argentine leather is a steal), and took in a trip over to La Boca. One last parting shot...it was Saturday night and party night, so …

With Uruguay out of the equation I returned once more to the Buenos Aires fore. Complete with the obligatory stay at Sabatico for a couple of days and an invigorated Adan, who was chuffed that…
Following the obligatory pit stop in Buenos Aires and with time no longer on my side I decided to head for the beaches of Southern Uruguay. At least I could then go home with a sun tan, and th…
As I was on the cusp of Patagonia once more, I decided it would be rude not to cross to the Andean steppe and take in one last view of the glorious Andes and the stunning Argentine Lake Dsitri…
Back once more to Buenos Aires, the gruesome foursome were up for some high jinx and general capers in this fine specimen of a city. The Sabatico, Red Door, Krakow, vino tinto and steak steak…

The phone I've got needs a new sim card, my UK number has been defunct since it was disconnected in December.
Still, thanks for the birthday message!
Uncle B
Hi Nick,
Hope that you enjoyed your birthday in style, good wine, food and the company of friends.
Tried to phone assuming that you were in Argentina, phone switched off ? Pity, only 2p a minute, could have had quite a chat if your battery was up to it. Second thoughts: or did you loose it along with the other goodies ?
Take care, Love Uncle B & Aunt H.
Uncle B
Hi Nick,
Enjoying the blog, look forward to them, flagons of rum ?
Do you still have a healthy liver or is it pickled ?
Hope to see a few photo's, Take care.
Nick B
I think Uncle B you are referring to Cuy, which is the Guinea Pig dish enjoyed by our Peruvian brethren. Apparently a lot of effort for not much meat (insert innuendo here).
Uncle B
Hi Nick, look forward to your blogs and pics.
Colombia; is that a good idea ?
Like to know more about the food which you mention, animal protein; hope that you can identify it; understand Guinea-pig beats a beefburger in some quaters.
Keep safe.

Hello baye!
Sounds like you're having a fantastic time. The boys are tracking Unclay Necks trip on the globe lightshade in the lounge. Ben wants to know why you don't fall off when you're on the bottom of the world. Not sure if he got my explanation of 'how gravity works', so I showed him the photo of your head gash and told him you did fall off. He liked that.
Toodle-pip and love from us all xxxx
