Kratie and Ratanakiri
Great advice from Chris Howarth to come to this much quieter and more rural part of Cambodia. We really enjoyed seeing combodians living more traditional lifestyles and getting away from the hustle/bustle/hastle of the cities.
Highlights were:
Cycle through village to see rare Irawaddy Dolphins, getting lots of 'hellos' from the local kids, amazing sticky rice, 3 punctures, volleyball and finally a power cut!
Stayed in the srange Star Hotel in Ben Lung with the even stranger 'Mr. Leng' as host. Cycled around to a few waterfalls (plus swimming) and swam in a pristine volcanic crater lake at sunset. Very tranquil.
Back to Kratie for the ferry and walk around Koh Tong Island, Ty Pran Wat, Vietnamese Floating Village and ferry back to the mainland to get visas to Laos.
End of a great time in Cambodia!
