After much sleep deprevation in Singapore we both had a great nights sleep, quiet and comfy - yay!! Bit cloudy today but still warm and sunny so decided to head into the city centre. It's about a 10 min walk from our hostel but we'd been told about a free bus service that runs 1km out from the city centre, in all directions, the bus stop is close so it's ideal for us. We both had an awful nights sleep as the hostel was loud all night. Were up at 5am with taxi picking us up at half past. Taxi ended up costing more than expected as they charged a pre-booking and early hours fee that we'd not been told about! Had a lazy morning before walking to see the Sultan Mosque and go to Suntec Mall. I found a Topshop in the mall and was able to pick up a cheap tank top to replace one of the two that ripped. After a terrible nights sleep we made a prompt exit from the smelly hostel after grabbing some toast. Again not having long to see the city we found a hop on, hop off bus service to get us to all the sites, worked out around 6gbp each. Up at 7am to have the remains of our cereal (Nick ran to get some milk to save the problem we had yesterday!)
