Wow, those trains sound unbelievable!! That is something you will never forget. Long after the stench and the overcrowding are over you will remember fondly those train trips. Right now they sound nauseating.
I love the cricket photo! I am sure folk thought you were celebrities, Brilney, you could have signed yourself Victoria Beckham and they wouldn't have known the difference. make sure to take lots more photos. Hugs Etain

Hi guys, I love the stories and the photos. It is bringing back so many memories of my trip to India last year. You will strangely miss curry 3 times a day when you come home, food will taste really plain!! Keep on blogging and posting photos, and see you at Christmas for a big catch-up about all your adventures!!
Chris
The pix are great, and the descriptions make them really interesting. I can imagine the food is wonderful. Wow, from Jordan to India, what a series of great adventures. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here, wherein we drive an hour north to L.A. to eat WAY too much food and afterwards fall over on our sides on the sofas, kinda like the happy pachyderms in your photos. I was waiting for Nick to get a blast of water in the shot with him aiming the elephant's trunk up at his face! Please send more photos when you have time.

Loving the idea of curry for breakfast, lunch and supper! Have you had a go at pig sticking yet? My old regiment used to do a lot of it when they were in India, although it seems hunting tigers was the favoured sport. My tiger skin rug is getting a little worn so please pick one up for me if you happen to tke a pot shot or two at some of the native wildlife...
Enjoy the rest of your trip and look forward to seeing the photos and hearing the tales on your arrival in Oz.

Thanks all, including Gina, for your lovely rendition of Happy Birthday in pure Queens' Indian - wasnt sure if it was the poor children from the train you had taught "s***-head" to which had then progressed to drinking games - sadly no, just your 3 sweet but dreadfully out of tune indian howls! Thanks anyways - not really the best birthday, infact so bad that I have elected to try again next saturday thus remaining my same youthful age for yet another week. Tonsils are somewhat better despite the pus clinging to them with desperation and having to have an ass jab antibiotics booster, am weaning slowly back onto solids but no alcohol due to the addition of another antibiotic, which when even the hardiest of alcoholics try to embibe with end up on a heap on the floor and retching as if they have deli beli. Oh yes bring on next year - with Yazz's motto the "only Way is Up Baby!!" Oh yes - also scorching hot here 36's, now raining, then more sun.
PS - Lucinda - if you read this can you tell me the name of the place you are doing the farm mustering at near Melbourne - and if its any good - cheers x x

Hello Currybums!!!
Curry all day every day sounds wonderful, just make sure you don't get "Delhi belly" from ingesting river water!
It all sounds very exciting and a once in a lifetime experience (unless you move there next) so soak it up and keep sharing, since we can't be there with you. It'll zoom by quick!
Big hugs and much love, Meli xxx
