This trip started 4 years ago when watching The Socceroo's do us proud in Germany, and vowing that one way or another, I would not miss it again if they qualified for the next world cup in South Africa. Luckily they qualified, and Tash thought it was also a good idea!

Once that was locked in with The Fanatics, the rest of the trip, and subsequent life change evolved to what it is today. A trip across 5 continents with so many potential highlights, we don't know what we are looking forward to the most!

The trip will be great, but only downside is that we need to say goodbye for now to so many of our amazing friends and family. Saying goodbye to our friends at work was hard but feel we made the most of it with some memorable highlights. In the end, you were not just our work colleagues, but some of our closest and dearest friends. Can't wait to see you all again soon. To have Kris stay for the party was special, and to spend quality time with our closest friends at The Egg, The Cooking Club etc has been great, and should get us through until August!

Not the trip begins. Safari suit...check. Novelty Australian wigs....check. One slightly nervous Phillo chick...check. Hopefully this blog will keep you up to date of how we are fairing and sum up some of the highlights of what we have seen so far.

Thanks again for making our departure so fun and positive.
