I've just got back from the local army barracks, over here to subsidise their income thay open up the shooting range and let hungover tourists (like myself) fire guns, i've not fired a gun since me and dad went to the shooting range near Altrincham (i was about 12 i think, maybe a little older) so obviously i'm out of practice. I fired 30 rounds from an ak47 (automatic rifle from russia, hit the target 20 times), 30 rounds from an uzi (machine gun hit the target 6 times) and 8 from a pistol (hit the target 3 times but i did waste a few shots by trying to hit a tin can that was on the floor nr the target, i missed). I've got loads of photos (and video) so keep your eyes peeled on the website, i look like rambo. Needless to say it was great fun (if not a little expensive, cost me $70, about 40 quid).
