It appears that it has been a while since i have updated this thing, so here goes.

We are now on our mid break. I am currently hanging out at my friends place in Phoenix, where so far we have gone to a different mall everyday. This country is obsesses with shopping. There are literallt at least two malls on every block. We have been to Desert Ridge, Kierland, Paradise Valley and also the local mall to Poodles house. It is insane. But I have been very good and only bought a hat, and also one present, most of my money is spent on food.

At camp, last week was awesome. The entire unit was great. We had incredible kids and the best group of counselors ever. It was so much fun. It was an older age group 11-13, and they were just realy easy to handle, unlike the brownies i had the weel before who were really intense. If you havent heard about the previous week it was horrible. I had Brownies for starters (who are 7 year olds) and they pretty much ran wild. We had one serious injury on a hike, involving the impaling of someones leg with a twig (it wasnt actually that bad, but this girl was such a drama queen, and she was freaking out), then I had to carry her back to camp becuase we were on the hike, and she was screaming and going into shock, yeah it was fun. Then after those kids left, four of us headed down to phoenix, where on the way our tyre exploded. It was pretty much a horror story waiting to happen, with four girls stuck in the desert surrounded by saguaro cactuses (those cliches looking ones), as it gets dark, with an illegal immigrant stopping to help us, with little phone reception, and two cops stopping (leading the immigrant to run away), and also two different tow guys, one who listened to hard core rock (waking us up as he drove us home at one in teh morning) and the other who listened to the backstreet boys. it was way fun. In the end we were stuck on the side of the road for six hours.

Let me give you an overview of a day at camp (becuase right now I have the time)

We wake up at 7, then get the kids ready fr breakfast at 8, where everyone proceeds to eat too much. Each meal is followed by Song Tree, where we sing awesome camp songs. After that, we go to our first activity (activities include Rock Climbing, Canoeing, ARchery, Arts and Crafts, Heritage, a Hike, Badge Work, or other similar not so exciting things) we have two activiteis in the morning followed by lunch, then song tree then me time (which is a well deserved quiet time). then we have two more activities, then dinner and then a night time activity. On Tuesdays it is All Camp, first night it is Opening Campfire (but there is actually no fire as there is a fire ban, so we use awesome torches instead), we also do sleepouts, cookouts, dance parties, and closing campfire. it is a pretty hectic week, but oh so much fun.
