A wonderful day full of surprises today. I fell in love with the gorgeous city of Verona. It was quiet with lots to offer. The main highlight was visiting Juliet's house and seeing the balcony, the statue and the graffiti and love letters everywhere. The pic shows our tour leader Romano showing the men how they should rub Juliet's breast for everlasting love! We have the best tour leader and his sense of humour is full of surprises everyday. There is also a huge arena in Verona.

Further down the road we stopped in Milan. It is full of many exclusive shops (brand names). There were models in the shopping area shooting for ads etc. Milan also has the worlds best opera house Le Scala and the fourth largest church in the world. It's was magnifico with amazing stained glass windows.

I think I saw an Italian God today. When he walked past us we all could do nothing but stare after him for ages:-)

Off to the lakes district for two nights now.
