To all my lovely, treasured friends,I actually made it to Montreal!The morning of my flight I woke up with a start (only 2 hours sleep after discovering that im challenged on the the packing front!) as I realized I had ordered the Canadian dollars to be available at the International terminal NOT at the domestic terminal where my DOMESTIC flight to Sydney was departing (Goof #1).Started out at 3:50am from Emerald, Victoria.Arrived at Tullamarine for my domestic flight to Sydney and made a mad dash to Travellex in the Intl terminal. Travellex closed, back at 5:30am! *&^(*%!My flight was boarding at 5:30am from a different terminal.I dashed back to the Dom terminal to meet my mum & dad guarding my bags.Hopped into the domestic line for check-in,oops wrong line, sent to other end of terminal for the domestic flights for intl transfers line (Goof #2).Checked-in for the first time with feelings of excitement and trepidation.Then another hotfoot dash back to Travellex in Intl to see if anyone was around.Fortunately, there was a man behind the counter but the not open sign was still up?I asked him if he could help me and got the answer "Not open until 5:30am"."But you open and 4:30am, its listed on the website!" I cried."Heard of daylight savings time mate?" was the gruff retort (Goof #3).Hmmm, definitely not a morning person this one. "Sir, my flight leaves at 5:30"I exaggerated."Ok, mate, what do you want" came the terse but welcome reply.Clutching my $CAD, I hugged the parents farewell and boarded for Sydney.
