We arrived in Portland on Friday April 12th. The drive here down the Columbia River Gorge was spectacular. The waterfalls were huge!

We are staying at the Grand at Bridgeport and love this hotel. $98/night and it's brand new. Great location. With the GPS in the van we have had NO trouble driving anywhere in Portland.

We went right downtown yesterday to Powell Books. It's the largest independent bookstore in the world!
