Starting near home, leaving for Italy soon! first i am going to rome. going to some momuments like traians forum and palatine hill. I am also going to go to La Tavernaccia, which is supposed to be one of the top 5 resteraunts in Rome. La Tavernaccia is also supposed to serve pizza and pasta. Leaving tomorrow! a few things i am going to pack is a couple sweaters/rain jackets and maybe a little bit of food for the plane trip. i am also going to pack some shorts and maybe some pants/long sleeve shirts. by the way, remember the Boy Scout motto, "be prepared." i'll be gone for about two weeks, and i'm off to see Europe. in Europe, i'm going to see five countries. first i ma going to see Italy, then the u.k., then Lithuania, then Bosnia and Hersengovia, and last but definitely not least, Belarus. Rome offers a ton(metaphorically speaking)of great opportunities to visit world famous places and architecture that is supposed to be truly amazing. i already have a few places i am going to go, like the colliseum, and the aqueducts, because the enineering in both of them is quite the piece of work. in the colliseum,or should i say under the cooliseum, there were cages full of lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my!(just kidding)first they hadslaves or criminals under strict watch, pulling or pushing levers to make the cages go up. second the cages were lifted up. (ovislously) third the animals are let out from under the arena floor and are supposed to fight to the death with other animals or gladiators/condemned criminals. Now the aqueducts were strokes of pure genius, because, especially in those times, they were very elaborate, and they still are, but they were hollow tunnels that carried clean water through the city, and into peoples houses, and all around the city again. and the cool part is they are still standing today two thousand years later in almost perfect condition. thats all folks.(lol) see you in rome.
