Today we decided on a relaxing day but also a day of adventure.
We went to visit Draper James Girl which is a brand started and run by Reece Witherspoon, the place is a pretty boutique with lots of cool kinda 50's housewifey clothes and neat handbags! While we were there they were shooting some sort of film or advertisement so they allowed us to hang around and watch it was pretty cool but unfortunately for Chris Reece wasn't there :(
Next we drove down Music Row and saw all the producers and record companies it was crazy busy and very cool.
Then we went to Centennial Gardens and had a picnic in front of the replica Parthenon. It was a nice relaxing lunch and just sat in the sun reading, eating and chatting.
Next we made our way into town and went through the Johnny Cash Museum. It was good, nothing like Graceland but still worth the trip.
We made our way up town to Hooters and had dinner there. Food was good but by god the poor girls wear next to nothing as uniforms!! And the two guys sitting behind us were rude and obnoxious. No way would I ever work there!!
After dinner we decided to hit some HonkyTonk bars!! Every place has their own live band and some a new one on each floor. It was such an amazing scene to experience and we spent the evening wandering from bar to bar!! Our favourites were The Stage and also Legends Corner. Great bands and good places to sit and have a couple of drinks!
