donald Your text prompted me to update myself on your travels. Perth sounds like a place to seriously consider emigrating too but I dont like the sound of the squeaky cleanliness of Singapore nor of the dangerous traffic in KL. Hope you havent eaten to many Ozzie pies - they sound a lot better than Scotch pies. To be honest I have never fent more negative about Scotland and things Scottish quite apart from the pies - things are just a mess here now. Your viewing figures are extraordinary!

Simon Bioletti Hi Neil and Gwen, Hope you are fine and enjoying yourselves.Summer seems to be over hetre. Are experiencing a howling storm at present and really have had crap weather for a week.I have been in hospital for a couple of days. Nothing serious, just being prepared for dialysis to start in 5 weeks time . have been feeling horrible for a while so its time. You must be in India now. I am very envious. helen Glad you two escaped the awful fires..the news was full of it here. Am very sad you have never seen a roo in the wild, get yourselves north of Perth, the place is overrun with them ( a bit like red deer in Scotland) Are you missing us all yet?

donald Hi Again We know all about the heat waves as the news is full of it but here it is the exact opposite with the hardest winter in 18 years and it just goes on and on. Hope you picked up some tips on tennis technique after watching Nadal etc but you will need to lose that weight you hve been putting on! And lose that accent!!! You may find you lose a lot of weight in India if they let you in!!!

Simon Hi Neil and Gwen, You are obviously "hevving an or-some toime in Orstrya" . I don't know how you have coped with the heat. We have been having 30 degree days here which is a bit unusual. Went to Gisborne for 10 days of wine and fabilous beaches. Yoy would have enjoyed the vineyards. Did a few tastings. Now back at work. Was good to see the colleagues again.Classes start on Monday, so have some prep to do. Was great to see you again Neil and to meet Gwen. Thanks again for dinner but Woody Allen was crap wasn't it.
