Why isn't tallness a recognised disability?
The 11th and 12th were spent regaining a decent sleep pattern and sampling some of the delights Wellington has to offer.
My private room was a luxury well worth splashing out on and it gave me the oppurtunity to sample some New Zealand TV, its crap.
As I expected the kiwi Experience bus pulled up at the place I was staying. It was like second chance sunday on E4, I love second chance sunday on E4.
Went to the fabled Wellington Cable Car which was billed as a main attraction in the Lonely Planet Guide, what bo11ocks, 5 mins out of my day and a crap view at the top to boot.
Then went to a couple of museums, firstly the Te Papa Museum and saw the Lord of the Rings Exhibition. Then the Museum of New Zealand Cricket, I know i know, im all about the culture.
The weather has been sh1te, the wind is meant to be upto 140Ks, ive got no idea what this means but if felt like the windows in my room were going to smash at any second throughout the night so im guessing its bad.
Thought about going to the cinema but it only had 5 screens and I'd seen every film on offer, thats never happened before and is a bit sad on my part.
I'm officially addicted to Starbucks Hot Chocolate with cream, I need to try and fight this addiction cause it can't be good.
Returned the rental car in Wellington and was driven back by a scouser who has lived in NZ since the 70's. He still hasn't lost his accent and sounds alot like Thomas the Tank Engine, he said the word 'Like' at the end of every sentence, just like Rachel Lafferty does like.
