Why isn't tallness a recognised disability?
Woke up at 1.30am and decided to turn the alarm off that id set after id changed my mind and decided that I would watch the England match. I changed my mind again, if its a girls perogative to do such a thing then im going to do it too and I was happy with my decision once I found out the result.
So I had a day skiing at the Remarkables ski field. It took a fricking age to get to the top of the mountain but it was well worth it as there were so many more options for beginners than there were at the previous place id been at.
There was a part right at the top of the mountain that went down hill and then gradually up again so you could just ski straight down it really fast and then the upward slope would slow you down, that was awesome, or as the americans say, ossum.
There was a singer at the Remarkbles as well. He was excellent and had the same guitar as me which made me miss my guitar and I may buy a new one in OZ. He even pretty much played the same sort of songs that id play at home aswell so I felt a certain kinship with him, so much so that when he played 'Weather with you' I sang the low harmony to myself, it sounded great me and him, even if I was the only person that knew about it.
There was no hot water at the hostel on my return, this sucks and is the last thing I want after a day skiing. Im contemplating driving to the hostel I stayed at before and using their showers but im not sure im quite ready to be elevated to official pikey status just yet.
Only 2 and a half days left in NZ and one of those will be spent driving to Christchurch so its just down time from here on in until I get to OZ. Ive also avoided reading the last 70 pages of my book, I don't want to finish it ever, I actually love it.
