Moose is on the Menu...Seriously.
Oh my goodness where to start!! I've been on the green tortoise bus for 3 days but feel unwell so I'm abandoning my adventure mission and staying in Jackson Hole for the night and then flying to San Fran in the morning.
The tortoise was crazy fun but also just a bit crazy mental too and weird in parts. Did some hiking (yes, me hiking, I know) which was actually really good. Got totally freaked out becacue I thought I heard a rattle snake but apparantly it was just a dragon fly or something. Before you all start laughing at my stupidity lol I swear they sound really similar. Google it.
Loads of ridiculous photos of me posing around with rocks and logs and stuff which I may or may not put up on here depending on how bad they are when I go over them. Went up to Lamoille Lake with Nicole which was fun, she's fourteen and on holiday with her dad, she's adorable and put me to shame by practically sprinting up the mountain while I was stopping every 5 seconds to eat my nutella sandwiches. I didn't actually reach the lake, the nutella was calling to me too much.
Next stop was the hot springs which I also didn't reach lol. The idea of walking through cow poo and across a river in bare feet put me off too much so I turned back to the bus 3 miles and two rivers later. Had a complete BF on the way back and nearly convinced myself that I was going to die lol. I was just walking along when I noticed somebody's trainer on the edge of the road, then I saw some torn clothes about a mile later. SO I was out in this desert on my own freaking out, absolutely sure that the texas chainsaw massacre guy was going to pop out at any minute. Melodrama as usual :)
There was a really freaky man called Johnathon on the bus who kept pinching my feet while I was sleeping. He also spilt his fanta all over me and then mopped it up with my jumper. I was less than impressed. Very strange man but I felt kind of sorry for him because he seemed kind, just a bit weird. That;s about as weird as it got though.
So yeah, Jackson hole. This place is hilarious, I love it. It's full of real cowboys and like animals and stuff. I really want to see if I can find a pink cowboy hat, they probs don't make them in pink but I might have a look later anyway. I saw a stuffed moose in the visitors centre which was MASSIVE. I seriously need to do some research or something cos I thought moose were only as big as like dogs or something so I couldn't stop staring at this one. I took a picture of me with my hand straight up in the air and I still wasnt as tall as it. A guy in full cowboy regalia came in shortly after my crazy moose discovery so I was in absolute hysterics for ages and it took me a while to realise that he wasn't in fancy dress.
Anyway I'm going to check into a hotel called 'SnowKing' (I think) a bit later, the airport recommended it. I think it's a ski resort but surely there can't be any swimming at this time of year? Jackson Hole is hot hot hot so I would have thought any snow would have melted.
Whatev, the cowboys are calling so Im off to take some pictures and stuff.
Love love
