Us in Oz
Hello, sorry we haven't updated recently, we haven't been able to get to a computer for a while. We made it to Ayer's rock, which was awesome! We did the longest day trip in the world, we set off at 6am and got back at midnight. It was worth it though to see the rock up close and personal, it looks a lot different from up close there's much more grass and trees around it than i thought there would be and even waterholes. Also we found out that it's red because it's rusty, the actual colour of the stone should be grey, weird! We also saw the Olgas which are a big rock collection/formation which is actually bigger than Ayers rock but not as famous. I took millions of pictures but am having a bit of a mission getting them on the computer, grrr. Since then we left Alice springs and headed east to the coast. We're now in Townsville which is between Brisbane and Cairns, it's really nice and it's meant to have 300 days of sunshine a year but we happend to turn up on one of the 65 where it's cloudy and rainy! Even though it rained it's still really warm and humid, the rain's cleared up now though and its nice and sunny. Yesterday we went to an aquarium which was really good, it had a massive coral reef tank and some sharks and a turtle. Today we went to a wildlife sanctuary where we got to hug a koala! Yay! They were so cute, also we saw huge crocs and got to hand feed kangaroos! I took another load of pictures which i will try and put on the site. Thats all for now, speak to you soon
