Checked out of our first hotel after another stunning breakfast and warm start.
We travelled to Tirta Gangga (water of the Ganges) a sacred water palace built in the 20th century by the last king of Karangasem. A stunningly beautiful place with hundreds of fishes including massive Koi carp.... We fed them crackers and they followed us as we walked on the maze of stepping stones until the food ran out. Many gorgeous flowers and interesting statues in a peaceful environment :)
We then travelled to Amed where we we're taken out in a traditional wooden prahu boat (a sailing boat usually used for fishing) into the sea.
We ate lunch at a beachside Warung followed by a three hour drive along the northern coast to the town of Lovina.
We arrived at our lovely hotel where we swam and then had some dinner. The first time I had had a whole barbecue on the table (beef satay on skewers over hot coals).
We love it here :):)
