I guess its just everyday a new adventure & a new place to visit. Manchester is quite close to London Well a lot closer than China . Come & see the sites. We have street vendors & a Xmas market. A wonderful theatre & a concert hall. Even the language is English No no need to learn mandarin or is it tangerin. We also have a Lonely Planet guide that directs you to a plastic village called Gullivers Kingdom. Oh gosh it's north of Watford and so it will take a hazoardous donkey ride for 6 days over snow capped mountains and bandit territory. This is known as the M6 trail. Don't ask any Londoners for directions. They will say "Manchester" , we have heard of it through tales told by the elders of our village but we don't know if it really exists.

Dear Naomi
Hmmm latest blog about the exotic island sounds quite interesting, like the cynical bit about the Lonely Planet guide, maybe you should use my Dorling Kindersley guides after all!!!
I can still send them to Australia if you want.

Hello Naomi and Gaz,
Delighted the trekking was so wonderful, I thought of you both out there! Imagining all the things you saw, a lot more exciting than being stuck at a desk, I'm sure.... (sympathy welcome).
Looking forward to reading all about it, much love xxx

Hello, it is far too cold to write a whole journal entry, (mittens are not the best for typing) and after the most fabulous experience of my life, it may take a day or two to know how to put it all into words. We are in Songpan in the sichuan province where we went for a 3 day horse trek into the Tibeten mountains. I thought I would leave a message (mainly for mum) to let her know that we made it! and it was the highlight of our trip.
lots of love and thanks you for all the birthday messages, I will fill you all in soon,
