Yay thank god we have toast and ham for breakfast! I got very hungry in the night, and just wanted to pop to the fridge and make a tasty snack like I do at home. I had my first Indian shower today, which consisted of a bucket and a plastic jug. A man from projects abroad came to put house to take us on our project induction. We were took to a place called BOOMA hospital, which is a private clinic. We went in and took a seat for a while to wait for the doctor to meet us. After we met her, we bumped into Katie who showed us round some more, we met the other nurses and midwifes. There was an operation scheduled for that day, so we went upstairs to the operating theatre and prepped for out first surgery. The surgery was on a 2 year old girl, it was a crazy experience. From the waking up mid operation to the answering there phones while operating. It was eye opening but not something if like to see again. We then decided to come home and eat lunch, which was a crazy concoction of yellow rice and cucumber purée.
