Just a quick entry tonight. As promised our mechanic had our car ready at 11 AM this morning. We were on the road by 11:15 and we just arrived in Russellville, Arkansas. A long day of driving, but now we only have one more day ahead of us until we get to Murphy, North Carolina. Tired Carr family signing out.

Today, well, plans changed. We left the beautiful La Posada Hotel in Winslow at 8am on our way to Amarillo, TX and were having a great trip UNTIL…..about 5.5 hours into our trip (with our windows rolled down, remember the a/c broke yesterday) we started smelling something burning. It all began today. We packed up and cleaned the house and are heading across the country to North Carolina for our first leg of an exciting summer. Everything was flawless today…except for one little thing. The air conditioner in the car kicked the bucket today in the 105 degree heat.
